Blessing Day

Well this handsome little devil was blessed on April 10 2011! And it ws a beautiful blessing Ryan gave him! Thanks to everyone who came and joined us on our special day! Now heres a picture overload!

life of a one monther..

Life is busy for our one month old. He has a lot to accomplish in 1 day.

Such as staring out the window at the early morning sun.  There's a lot for those adjusting eyes to figure out.

And resting his sweet little head, while digesting his breakfast.  That belly is always hard at work.

(Nothing's cuter than a little milky drool, right?)

And throwing out a grin or two.  Gas related?  Probably. 

 

He also tries so hard to figure out who's talking to him and what we may be telling him.  And possibly wonders why we're constantly gushing over him and smothering his poor squishy cheeks with kisses.

 

It's also a lot of work to fill that diaper.  But with a little concentration, he's mastering that task quite well.

After all that, he usually needs a little break.......and passes out for a while

After a long nap, he repeats the above tasks several times throughout the day.........and then we start again the next day.

Yep, he stays pretty busy.

It's hard work.

1 month.

Really? This baby of mine has been here a whole month! Seems like i was just counting down the days till he was here… now I don’t want them to go fast anymore…

Being a mama is definitely different But.. i wouldn’t change it for the world. This little guy is so adorable and we cant seem to get enough of him.

He’s finally starting to focus more on his surroundings, we get some smiles out of him every once in a while. He starting to talk back to us. Loves loves baths! Already knows when he’s in his bassinet or our bed… (bad habit already?) Eats like a champ. Sleeps pretty good… almost has a routine down… getting better everyday. His hair is slowing coming in a little more in the front.  Has the best facial expressions! Has the cutest dimples i have ever seen! Were so lucky & so glad he is here! Happy 1 month!

I hope they call me on a mission

Recently they called Grandma & Grandpa Warburton to the New York, New York Mission. Scheduled to leave March 14! Pretty Crazy!!!

Well… they got reassigned to the Long Beach California mission instead because of health issues.

We will miss them for a good little while.

Welcome baby Ryker!

February 25th… Friday. We decided to get induced… and yes… we didn’t tell a soul… We wanted it to be  a secret. Even though everyone knew it was a good possibility we were going to. The Hospital called me at 9:15 and said can you be here by 10. Of course. I was all ready to go!Last Prego pic! Just 6 days shy of 40 weeks! Here is my nasty mug at the Hospital… I was starving! And just living off popsicles for about 5 hours. And oxygen mask. So hot…

Birthing story:

We got i there about 10 ish. They got me started on Petocin at 11. Broke my water about 12:30. Got and epidural at 2.  Got another dose at about 4. Starting pushing at 4:45 and he was delivered at 5:47. Amazing how fast it went. Because he was in the birth canal for a little while and i was running a little fever (not eating all day and then feeling like i was going to pop my head off by pushing so hard). He came out a little stressed. They gave him a little bit of oxygen at first and said they were going to take him down for about an hour to get more… they were back in 5 min. Guess he didnt need it after all. He was wide awake for a good 2 hours after. They took him to check his vitals and noticed his blood sugar was extremely low. They had to give him an IV (so so sad). And feed that with insulin. Also we had to supplement him with formulas which is another story… it sucked. It was pretty stressful in the hospital. They had us stay another day… which made it hard on me. But luckily the next day we got to take him home and now he is as healthy as a horse! We are so blessed that everything went the way it did. And  me and Ryan are so pumped to be parents. Its been a whole week since we have been home & its just going by so so fast. I have already experienced the 1 hour of sleep night… the first night home was the hardest. But were just taking it one day at a time and it seems to get better and better! Ry’s a good little daddy! Its so fun to watch him. He helped me give him a bath the other day and that was fun… (he busted out the blow dryer, sorry only funny if you know the story behind that). Anyways i’ll post more pics soon!

7 pounds 2 ounces & 19.5 inches long. We were so surprised with all the hair he had. He’s got both mine and Ry’s dimples. There adorable! I think for the most part he looks alot like ry. He has my tounge and maybe my eyes and my head shape. He changes every second though.

 

 

We love him & are so glad he finally made it here!!!

V-day?

Okay so it wasn't the best V-day i've had. But I felt left out of the crowd with everyones posts about how there v-day went... 

I almost felt like i was on the "office". And i'm the girl sitting in her cube at work and everyone around her is getting spoiled with flowers... cards... candy... ect... whatever. I'm not here to cry about it i guess... ha. 

I did end up gettin my hair done from Leesh. Which was nice... that always makes me feel better. So i went home and got all ready for the night... just in case ya know. 

Ryan had a dentist appt... Lame! He came home soooooo grumpy about his mouth being numb. 

I on the other hand was STARVING... so we jumped in the car and i'm like lets just do something simple and go to Cafe Rio... Bad idea! It was PACKED! So... this is what our night consisted of... instead... 

We rented to Dinner for Smucks... If you havent seen that yet i recommend it... pretty funny show

 

Finally just decided to get a pizza... o well it was good!

As much as i didn't care for this v-day it was just a good night to relax and hang out with Ry. I should enjoy these times while I can. Ha. Love ya babe.

 Everyone Lost!!!

So the day is approaching faster than i ever thought it would be. Last Tuesday i went into the Doc and he said i was already dilated to a 4!!! And 80% effaced. Everyone that has heard the news think i'm crazy cause i'm not in the hospital... everyone has there babies at when there a 3? Yeah i dunno what to think. So i'm just livin one day at a time... whatever happens... Happens right?  Anyways... were guessing when this little boy is going to make his grand entrance... If you would like to guess send me a comment...
