Daily Poll...

Okay... so now that it is getting closer and closer i keep thinking about the nursery... And am getting a little nervous about it. So... i mentioned to Ry that we should get started on it. And was giving him some of my ideas. Well.. i guess it came down to just one idea. I'm thinking like a gray/blue color with white bead board up on half way... A little something like this... maybe a little lighter blue and a little more gray...

or something like this...

But then again my husband has another idea... you know him. And he has done an excellent job making our house look super cute! He has very good taste in a lot of things. But he gave me an idea for the nursery and i dont really know what to think of it. And am possibly having a hard time picturing it.

He likes the beadboard idea but instead of doing the blue/gray walls he wants to do camo?

UEA Weekend

So over the weekend we made a quick trip down to Marysville. Yes, i dont know exactly where that is at but its about 3 hours south. Down by Gunnison. My whole Warburton side went down and brought wheelers and such and rented cabins and stayed in our trailers.  It was tons of fun. This has been a new tradition in my family. We do it every year and this is our 3rd or 4th time. But mine and Ry’s 2nd. It so much fun just hanging and relaxing with the whole family. This time my Grandma Thacker and Kim came along too! The more the merrier!!! Here’s a few pics of our Journey.

Bunco

Yes i do belong to one of those “Bunco” groups. And yes we do have a lot of fun. This time it was at my casa and we had a pretty good turn out. Here’s a pic of our “group”. And yes i know i look a little possessed i dont know why? Everybody’s  costumes turned out great. To bad i was the one hosting it and didnt even know that we were dressing up. My costume was lame and so last minute. But it was fun! Thanks girlies!!!

I was talking with friend the other day and she said the only she regrets is not taking a more pics of her belly. I personally feel super ugly at the moment but i guess this is a important thingsto blog about... and make memories of... so heres my first belly pic! Dont worry my hair isnt quite done yet… and i feel like we took this at a weird angle so i do think i look a bit bigger than what i really am… o well… its weird.

In the mean time i’m enjoying the days where:

I can sleep in.

Enjoy peace and quite at my house.

Watch tv for as long as i want.

Stay up late or decide to go to bed early which ever i prefer.

Soak in a bath for as long as i want. And take my time getting ready.

Most of all just having my freedom for now.

 

Its a....... boy...

We walked into the ultra sound so completely sure it was going to get confirmed that it was a girl. Wow! Were we both in shock! But also both so happy! Ryan always likes me to add the detail of the ultrasound tech's conversation. (it was pretty funny)

As soon as she put the thing on my belly i immediately noticed... she said " Can you already tell what it is?" I said right away "It's a boy".... (you could clearly tell) haha. She said after that "Yup, he is well endowed". Ryan knowning him had to chime in at this point and said "He gets it from his father". Ha. It was fun. Were so excited. We already have a name for him. Ryker Jay. So mom, gma's lets get started on our blue quilt, now that we know what it is! :)

Boy? or Girl?

So there are many debates determining the sex of our baby... I'd say about 70% think it will be a girl... and 30% say it will be a boy... I guess that will be determined today... we go in for an ultra sound around noon. And yes... i did loose plenty of sleep over this heated debate. Playing in my mind boy... or girl... ect...I totally felt like a 5 yr. old on x-mas eve!  Were way excited to find out.

Yup, the rumors are true…

Were going to have a baby!

We found out we were prego the end of June.

We are due March 3rd!

We will find out what were havin for Ry’s b-day (Oct.2)

Yes, were way excited!

 

2 years.

We had a good anniversary… we started with sleeping in!! Then hittin up gandalfo’s followed by a relaxing massage at the Homestead. Then we decided to go check out Swiss Days. After had a picnic in the park. Decided to do some more shopping at the P.C. Outlets. Stopped on the way home at the Cheesecake Factory. Yum! And decided to call it a day with renting some movies! It was so fun just having a day to ourselves!!!

2 years has brought so many things…

what this past year has brought…

• fun times in the mountains either with friends or family (piute trail, moab & strawberry)
• ryan’s “new” eyes (lasik)
• one year of re-modeling (laying tile, re-doing hardwood floors, ripping down wallpaper, learning about electrical as well as plumbing…) good bye old house!
• vacationing on the western Caribbean cruise
• one more year of bad cooking… poor ryan!
• purchasing the biggest purchase of our life! Our own House!!! with more re-modeling… (and more budgeting)
• ryan purchasing his first lawn mower… (riding lawn mower)
• gaining another new job…(homestead)
• learning how to coupon!
• going to 4 amazing concerts this summer!
• attending the stadium of fire for the first time
• Ryan getting lucky and draws 2 good tags this hunting season…
• and last but not least… finding out were going to start a Family!!!

Most of all we’ve learned more about each other and its been a great 2 years! Challenging sometimes Heck Yes! But we always manage to pull out smooth! We definitely are enjoying life and the new adventures it brings us! To another fun year! Love ya babe!

big 22!

July 12 we celebrated my birthday! It was so much fun even though we didnt do too much! I woke up with waffles in my face! Ryan had to go to work at 7:30 but got up extra early to make me breakfast in bed! (now that sacrifice) after hanging out all morning and just taking my sweet time getting ready for the day. I headed out with my sister and mom to get a pedicure! That was relaxing. After that we grabbed some good ol’ TA!!! And headed to the mall. My mom bought me some shoes and Capris & i still have more money to shop with but couldn’t make up my mind. After that we went to Olive Garden! My grandma thacker was able to come up and eat with us! that was nice!!!  Then… after that… we did our traditional bowling!!! Woo! I love going bowling! So here’s a few pics from that!
